Default Lockers

Hey guys..I have a questions for ya; if you were only able to buy one locker at a time, would you buy one for the front (D30) or rear (D44) and why?

Update: ok, let me ad this to my question then; what about doing a ARB rear and an Aussie up front? Who has Aussie's? Any noise on the road? Turning, etc?? Pros Cons?

Front. Way more effective in my experience. Many times I never even turn on the rear. Just don't need it that often...I run an Aussie in the front.

I'd say put your first locker on the stronger D44 rear. Having a front and rear locker is great but often good to just lock the rear and retain reasonable steering. Once you lock the front you give up a lot of steering. I went with ARBs front and rear and am happy. Maybe spring for the ARB diff covers at the same time for extra strength and ease of diff oil changing

I just regeared and added a locker, I locked the rear first with a ARB. Dont want to spend much money on the Dana 30 plus an afraid if I lock it I would break stuff. Plus many people have told they hardly ever use front locker but use rear quite frequently.

OX locker in front with RVC shafts. The weak link will be your R/P

I'd lock the front firs.t Put in what you can afford. My choice would be a Eaton E-locker but my budget calls for a Aussie.

The front would be cheapest to lock with an aussie, but I think you will get more results with a rear locker.
