Lockers
'm rolling in a 2010 jk unlimited, with 35s, 3.5 Rubicon kit stock gears on 5.13s in the garage. I'm looking to a set of lockers, but can't decide on what. All I know is I don't wait ARBs, don't have the funds. What are my other choices.

What is your budget? Where do you live? (any snow/ice to worry about?) What will your actual usage/needs be?
You could also do a google search for "Dynatrac Lockers 101".
That is a decent comparison of some options they wrote up a few years back. (used to be hosted here, but was moved, so the powers that be won't let us link to it anymore...) Since it is a few years old, the eaton e-locker info has not been updated. It is now a 4-pin design instead of the old 2-pin. The other note is that it only talks about lockers, so if the Truetrac interests you, (which it should if you aren't a wheels-in-the-air type) you will need to do a little searching. There are a BUNCH of positive reviews for it on this site, so you won't have to look long.

I have several friends that run TruTracs front and rear and climb rocks all day long. You don't NEED selectable lockers for rocks, but it can help in some situations.
I intend to go TruTracs myself.

You could look into the Eaton E-Locker. No Air lines to run just a switch and running power and ground to the locker. These lockers come with a relay and switch that is already wired so the installation is a breeze. The switch is a little large and obtrusive but you can go to any auto parts store and find a smaller switch that will fit your needs better.
PM us if you have any questions or would like pricing.

I said this in about 3 threads I started... Eaton e lockers are only warrantied up to 33" tires, didn't want an auto locker (not that they're a bad option just my personal decision), zip locker wouldn't work.... An extra month of saving and I now run the 35 spline ARB. Love the locker, love the sound of air, love the peace of mind the extra spline strength and chromoly give. It was hard to do considering I'm the most impatient person in the world, but glad I went ARB.
One more for True Tracs!
Ran them in my 07 X and honestly they seemed to provide just as much traction as the factory lockers in my Rubicon.
At times they're even better. With an LSD you can just yank the transfer case into 4H while your driving and your locked. Same with 4Lo, just pull and go.
Rubicon you have to slow down to below 5MPH, engage 4L then press and hold a button low on the console until the rear locker engages, then repeat to active the front locker.
Takes your eyes off the trail and you have to pretty much come to a complete stop to finish the process. Then you have to disengage the front locker for every sharp turn in the trail.
LSD however is always active and doesn't bind up your axles in turns. The rear works in 2WD as well.
Current gen True Tracs are rated to 38" tires! Plenty strong.
