Default Locktite

Now this may sound silly, but I was wondering if anyone used locktite as they installed their lifts. I typically use it everywhere, but the stock bolts didn't seem to have any on them and with the frequent removal needed to fine tune everything, it could make things a pain. The flagged nuts and high torque would seem to keep things tight.

What do you all think!

I would not use it as most all the bolts have locknuts allready.

Mot of the nuts are of a locking type already. You can tell because you need a wrench to undo them until the final couple of turns. The only ones that I have run into that need locktite are the drive shaft bolts.

Cool. That's what I had surmised, but was cleaning up the work bench and realized I didn't use any.

as mentioned, you do not want or need to use lock tite on suspension components. just be sure to tighten them to the appropriate torque specs and with the weight of your jeep on the ground. track bar mounting bolts, lower control arms and rear uppers need 125 ft. lbs. and front uppers need 75 ft. lbs. of torque.
