Loctite, TPO & torque thread values
When I install my Bushwacker flatties I'd like to use a little LocTite (blue) on the nuts / bolts to keep 'em tight. Will LocTite work with Nylok nuts?
Another potential problem is that the flares are made of TPO, which I believe is a form of thermoplastic. Will LocTite mess the flares up? Obviously I'm not going to spray the stuff around like a firehose, just put a few drops on nut & bolt threads. Still...Anybody done this?
A final question on LocTite: I'm going to use it on the nuts/bolts when I install my lift kit. However, since it is a liquid and takes awhile to dry (and, as a liquid, has the properties of a lubricant), will it affect my torque wrench readings?
Pretty much learning how to wrench on my Jeep on the fly here.
Thanks.

Shouldn't affect torque readings, as you check torque on post lift about 300 miles or so.
As for nylock, they should be 'tough' enough that you wouldn't need loctite at all.
That's my opinion and how I would approach it. Let's see what others say.
