How good are the LOD bumper coatings? Like the "Zinc Enriched 2 Stage Texture Black" anyone have this coating on their bumpers and can chime in. Looking to order the rear bumper but not sure if i want to get this coating or get it uncoated and just bedliner it.

I'm running a Zinc'd front stubby. Ordered it direct from Chris at LoD. The finish has held up very well. Even in Midwest winters. It's also held up well on the trail. It's not a huge price increase for the option so I'd say go for it buddy.

Default LOD only available in textured?

I had an LOD rear bumper on my last JK - I had it in the flat black finish (great bumper, excellent quality). I see they don't offer flat black anymore, only the textured black. It seems to me that the textured finished items seem to rust easier than the smooth finished ones. Has anyone else noticed that, or is it my imagination. I have no experience with the LOD textured, but just what I have seen of textured finishes on steel. I live in the north where a lot of salt is used in the winter time. I am looking at bumpers for my '12 JK, and am worried about LOD's textured finish.

I emailed LOD about this, and they replied within 5 minutes - outstanding. They informed me that the textured finish is better than the smooth they had in that it matches the grain on the fenders and resists scratches much better than the smoot. So, the LOD will be getting my business.
