Default LOD bumper, textured vs. matte finish

I am buying a rear LOD full width bumper/tire carrier and am wondering if anyone has the matte/non textured finish? I am wondering what it looks like in comparison to the textured?

I have not seen the textured, but here is the matte...touches up easily with rustoleum flat black...

Thanks! I am adding some more pics. Yes, it is physically pretty smooth. It is not as dull as the wheels, but not too shiny either....

no problem. One hint on the install, well maybe two. download the instructions from both the forum and LoD's website. Both are different, but have good points. the floor jack operation is vital on the install to make it level. Make SURE that the tire carrier is leaning in toward the jeep! It is a pain b/c u have to put it on, mark it and take it off and drill it, and put it back on to bolt on. It is imperative that you get it back to the position that you marked it in to bolt it on or it will be a biatch! pm me if you need anything.

Just a heads up in the next week or so LOD is going to discontinue the Matte Black Finish and everything will come Textured.

No need to fear though if you have one bumper in Matte and and want to order the other in matte it will be available via special order.

By only offering one powdercoating finish it is going to cut down on the lead times!!

Whats the lead time like now? Once I have the money (5-6 months ) I will be picking up a LOD rear bumper, tire carrier, and gas can mounts

right now it is still 4-6 weeks but with powdercoating going to one type it will speed things up my hope is 7-10 days will be the norm around the first of the year.
