"Wow, sorry to hear that you're having those problems. It's always a bummer when you spend your hard earned on a new toy for the Jeep and then have to deal with some issues. Unfortunately, it does happen in our hobby! I hope that the manufacturer will stand behind it. Other people have had some good luck working with them and I know from personal experience that they're a good outfit. Our JK's are brand new and sometimes the first products do have a few rough edges. Let us know how it turns out and if there's anything we can do to help."

Do you think it would have taken the same long, twisted, angry path?
Sorry, the threads were merged as they were basically the same topic. Need I say, that's why it seemed so long and twisted. As far as angry goes, can you honestly say that the anger didn't exist from the get go? Either way, the problem here for me isn't so much the anger but rather the mis-information that was being spewed out. Now, you may be okay with it and maybe even smart enough to figure it out but not everyone here is or is at least as experienced to know the difference. Being this is my forum, I make it my responsibility to try and keep things straight and help out where I can.

Look, you can preach to me all day long about how you think a forum should be like but I'm sorry to say that I simply don't agree with you, I'm sorry. And, so long as I pay the bills to keep this place available to guys like you, I will run it how I see fit and if I want your opinion on how to improve things, I promise that I will ask for it

WayOfLife,

I wasn't trying to preach and I wasn't trying to point the finger at you. I'm not trying to tell you how to run your forum. I appreciate this forum and the fact that you're providing it for everyone's benefit - it is a huge service. Thank you!

I was only expressing an opinion, not aimed at you but aimed at what I see in many, many posts. This thread just happens to be the current one. Common courtesy is all that I was hinting at. Unfortunately it seems to be a lost art.

If I offended you, I apologize. I wasn't trying to be personal but was just trying to express a general idea and suggestion. You may not care, and that's OK. As you said, it's your forum and you can run it any way you like. You may like a confrontational environment. I don't know. Personally I don't find them very productive and was just expressing my thoughts.

LOL!! No offense taken and I do appreciate your thoughts and for claifying things. In all honesty, I would prefer things to be as you have suggested. However, I find it hard to not be confrontational with what I see to be the spreading of mis-information as in my experience, truth is often lost over the screaming heads and I just don't want to let that happen if I can help it.

I see that you're relatively new here and I do hope you can believe me when I say that the way things have been going this week is the exception and not the rule. Ask around to those who have been here a while and I'm sure they will tell you that normally, this is a very friendly and helpful place.

Of course, if there's anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,
Eddie

This thread just helped me make up my mind. I am ordering a LoD Front bumper. It has everything I am looking for with a good price! WOL's willingness to help his fellow jeeper's goes above and beyond in my opinion. I have read numerous posts over the months where WOL has gone out of his way to contact venders directly and help to resolve an issue. So I will order with confidence. Thanks WOL!

Thanks for the nice reply. As you mentioned, I have noticed that the majority of the posts are very helpful and only a few seem to go the other way. I agree completely with you on the mis-information issue and appreciate that you spend your own time and effort to try and keep the truth at the forefront. That is, after all, what we all want and need!

So, thanks again. Sorry if I ruffled some feathers. My intention was quite the opposite.
