Default LoD D-ring Tabs

I have the LoD full width rear w/ tire swing out and is it me or are the d-ring tabs really narrow> all of the d-rings I have found are too wide and seem to jingle all around in the hole. Am I missing something? Do they have special d-rings or something? Any help would be great. JOE>

yeah, they're a bit narrow but they do the job. as far as the rattling goes, go to your local hardware store and pick up a pair of "ballcock shank washers" for each tab. place these rubber washers on either side of the tab when installing your d-rings and you'll have a rattle free fit.

Wrap a fat postal rubber band around them and they'll be silent.

Not that bad but I like to have it as silent as possible on the trail. I ended up using a piece of heater hose I had laying around and it worked great. WOL washer idea is really good too, this would not deter me from getting the LoD again. This is a top notch bumper. JOE>

Mine rattled enough to annoy me. I just cut pieces of 3/4" ID rubber hose and put them on bothe sides of the d-rings to cenetr then on the tab and stop them from rattling. Much better now. No rattle at all. Cost me nothing. Autozone didnt bother to charge me for the 3" of hose I wanted.

i have run a lot of different bumpers and can tell you that even on bumpers with thickers tabs, your d-rings will still rattle around and enough to be quite annoying. in some ways, because the tabs on the lod bumper is thinner, it makes it easier to address the rattle problem with the washers.
