Default LoD Fron Mid Bumper Install Question

So, how has anyone put the outside bolts/nuts into the bumper? The ones closest to the fog light openings. I can't even get my hand in the area to start the nuts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't have that bumper but you might have to get creative with wrenches, swivel extensions etc. I had same problem mounting my winch but made it work...

Unfortunately, there is not a simple trick. You need to leave the fogs out till it is done to give you some room, but it doesn't help much. This is by far the hardest part of the install. It just takes time. I think that it is a 9/16 wrench. Just try to get it on there some way. Small hands help...ask a son if you have one handy! I wish I could give you more, but I just redid mine in the last couple of weeks and it is not easy. Just be patient.

Thanks for all the responses. Great bumper but, Holy Crap! Those four bolts are knuckle busters.

I can't wait to do the rear in a few weeks when it gets here.

a little suggestion on the rear. Combine the write up from LoD's website from the write up on this forum. I found the most important thing on the rear was to have a floor jack pushing the rear up from around the hitch area while you make sure that it is in the proper place before drilling it. You will want to have the tire carrier leaning slightly toward the front of the jeep so that when you get the tire on there it opens properly. Just a hint.

Great! Thanks for the tip. I've read through both and feeling a little intimidated. Hope it goes smooth.
