Default LOD or PureJeep

I'm looking into some rock rails for my 4dr. It's between the Pure Jeeps and the LOD. Any thoughts on which are better and why?

I don't have either, but I've seen LOD's full line of products in person...they are based about an hour or so from me in Indiana, and their stuff is top notch. I'm sure you'd be happy with either though. I think those two are the best choices for rock rails.

Depends...would you rather drill holes in the body, or in the frame. LoD are frame mounted, while PureJeep are body mounted.

Personally, I prefer frame mounted. I have had problems on past Jeeps with holes drilled in the body rusting...

Default LoD all the way

I have the LoDs on my 08 Rubi and can gurantee that you will be pleased. The protection provided is complete. Instillation is easy if you purchase a set of transfer punches at Harbour Freight for $5 or so to mark the holes.

I like the PJ because the allow for great ground clearance around the side and protect the side of your jeep.
I have seen the LOD sliders get hung up and i dont really like how low they are on the body.

Having the LoD's.... and not having enough lift at EJS. I can say I am very happy with how the LoD's held up. I'm not saying the PJ sliders woudn't have done as well because I don't know. I do know that more than once the entire weight of the jeep was on them and they held up beautifully. (If a little worse for the wear, but I think that's still beautiful. )
