Default LOD Rear Bumper Question

Does anyone know if the LOD rear bumper without the tire carrier can be used with the stock tire carrier and a 35" tire mounted? I have a 1" body lift and that should help, but it looks like it would be close. I really like the bumper, but not sure if it will work for my application.

I've been concerned about that. But, I just don't like a lot of the carrier set ups.

Can you order the LoD rear bumper with out the tire carrier and then add the rear tire carrier later? The LoDoffroad.com website seems like you have to ny the whole kit at once

Not sure about that one. It would be nice if you could do that!

The LoD bumper comes with spare relocation brackets. Remove the spare and the OEM tire carrier. Bolt the brackets to the gate, then bolt the OEM carrier back on. It lifts the tire up and out of the way, plenty of room for a 35.

is the LoD rear bumper not supposed to accept 3/4" D-rings? i just installed my bumper. i've got 4 3/4" D-rings and can't get any of them to fit in the shackle mounts.

I use 3/4 inch D rings in my front bumper. I had to tap them in the first time, but now they move freely.
