Default LOD stubby and Blue Ox base plate

I have a JK with a blue ox tow base plate and tow bar and i want to get a stubby front bumper. Does anyone know if the LOD will work with my baseplate? If not, how can i tow my jeep with the LOD stubby? Any pics will help. Thanks.

I don't have any pic's but i'm running the Mopar front with a Blue-Ox plate and there's no issues. The base plate mounts below the bumper to the frame. Check with Blue-Ox's website for their suggestions on compatibility. I would guess no problems.

If you call Chris at LoD and give him the measurements of the tow bar mounts he can custom build a mount to your measurements for your bumper.

I have the Blue Ox base plate on my 07. The umbilical socket touches the bottom of the stock bumper. It looks like if you cut the socket mounts off and relocate the socket it will probably fit most replacement bumpers.

I currently have the blue ox on my jeep now. I was just wondering if i can swap out my stock bumper to a LoD stubby and keep my base plate?

Does anyone tow their jeep that has a LoD stubby? How are you doing it?
