The gap on mine is about 1/2in with the spacer installed between the frame and the winch plate, which is next to the bumper. Took several photos today in different angles.

I notice you and I have two different LOD's. You certainly have less space than I do. I have about an inch and a half. Im going to call them tomorrow. I hope I did something stupid with the install and its not worse.
thanks for taking the time to post the pics.

SPoke to LOD today. Again, these guys are great.
When you install the bumper you need to first install the winch plate. DOnt do what I did and install the plate first and the spacers second. THis is why I have little room for the solenoid cables on the winch. The spacer should go between the frame and the winch plate. The instructions are clear on this. I just screwed up. If you dont mind the winch cabes resting on the grill, you can skip using the spacers and have the bumper sit 3/8th of an inch closer.

You may notice that the skid plate has nothing to screw into on the back left side. LOD informed me that its adjustable nd you are actually supposed to drill your own holes. I left the far left bolt off. Its on there so strong that I didnt see a need to drill.

The bumper itself is adjustable left and right. The holes are oblong to give you the ability to center it. Make sure you do this before you tighten everything down.

I love this thing. THe rear comes friday. Looks like another saturday tooling around. Cant wait.

Well...as you can see on my photos, I placed the spacers between the frame and which plate and still did not have space for the cables so had to reverse the control box.

Only way for mine to move forward would be drilling all four holes and, sincerely, that plate is thick. Reversing the control box was faster and easier. ;-)

I'm thinking they did because 3/8ths of an inch would make a big difference for me.

In my case I'd need at least 1/2in to route the cables properly. But if it's working well for you it's great!

I'm still probably going to switch it like you did.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you re-install the fogs? Pigtail extensions or plain old cut and splice? Very close to pulling the trigger on this bumper.

Went to radio shack and bought 16 gauge wire and spliced them in. Seriously easiest part of the install and nothing to worry about.
