Default Long arms & adj short arms

Long arm upgrade "kits" are pricy. Iv been doing a lot of reading and if I am correct, the front lowers and rear uppers (the shorter arms that you dont have to weld new brackets for) are pretty much adj short arms. So...... Couldn't you just buy them separate and it be a little cheaper?

not all long arm kits are made the same but, for ones that are made right, you would have to cut off and relocate ALL your control arm frame mounts and replace them with new ones that relocate them further back.

I really like the RK long arm upgrade but From the picture it shows it looks like its missing 1 or 2 shorter arms. Am i seeing it wrong?

Is there a major improvement to having the weld in long arm or the bolt in long arm?

you are seeing it right, they use a single upper control arm design. most long arm kits utilize 2.

there is no difference between weld on or bolt on other than the fact that with one, you need to check your bolts from time to time.

Clayton's new Long Arm is either bolt on or weld on.
