I would not be so sure about that! I paid $4.49 US for 87 Octane in the city. (Won't do that again) That about 5.30 AUD!! Gas next to my house is $4.14 US or about 4.90 ish AUD!

But I do love the tank!!

Can you FedEx that to me? I figure with shipping I would come out ahead by $0.30 or so.

Wow. Might as well have a big sticker on it that says KNOCK ME OFF.

In the 30 or so years they have been manufacturing them they have never had one 'knocked off' or damaged to the point where it needs replacing, so no sticker needed!

Yeah, whats the bottom constructed from?

Steel - I will find out how thick, but thick enough that a skid is not needed.

I like it anyone know a price? I couldn't find it on their website!

It is approx A$1800 fitted, and this is only the second one done. It will be on their website in the next couple of weeks.

I contacted Long Ranger a while ago and inquired about a Gasoline version, at the time they only had a tank for Diesel available.

The diesel one has been out for a few months now, as that will be the bigger seller here, but now the petrol one is done - obviously. Not sure if they will do a swb version.

I have an idea, how about you just fill up before you go offroading . Couldn't imagine ever needing that extra tank. But non the less, someone will need it.

$1,730 USD plus shipping to be precise...

Pretty cool but definately a luxury item for wheeling in the US when a couple of 5gal cans would suffice. For 3rd world expeditions I could see getting it though!
