long tube headers. if you could would you buy?
Just a curious question.
If long tube headers was a feasible item to get, would you get them?
for arguments sake let's just say they are stainless steel, coated and have emissions hookups.
Let's also for the sake of arguing they are worth 15hp with an average gain of 10hp.
Would you get them?
do you think they would be worth what? $500? $750? $1000??

IMO its not worth tryng to "soup-up" a mini van engine. most people find this out when they buy these CAI and cat backs that it just isnt worth it in the end. save your $$$ for more mods

Ditto on this. My jeep has a CAI, custom long tube headers, and a custom 3" exhaust. It's still too slow. Don't really think these things will come alive without a major improvement.

.....and it's a real shame. All they wouldda had to do is design the 3.8 as a 90 degree instead of a 60 degree and it wouldda been a hot rod motor compared to what it is now.

Hence me asking the question. So far its a huge no. As I really think people want to see 50hp gains and that's not going to happen unless you could dive into the motor.
Just a question overall.

well the fact is they didn't and I am not arguing with anyone. Its a question that I had to ask because I always seemed to be running into people stating I am waiting for long tubes"
