Longer Brakelines ???
Howdy, is it possible to put front brake lines on the rear?
I noticed the ends look the same. The fronts are quite a bit longer, and seem like they would work perfect.
I think they would work because people put their rear sway bar links on the front and they work just fine.

Just looked up the fronts on the fiche, and priced them. just buying another set of front lines will cost you what extended lines would have. ($80) and looking at them, it appears that you'd have to bend the solid line, and then would only gain about 2"... which in MY situation anyhow, would just be a stopgap measure. I feel I would want an extra 4" of line at least.
It's not straight, so I could be off a bit on my measurement, but I feel like it would be more hassle than it's worth.

Yes, the fittings are completely the same. Look on e-Bay, used ones are going for around $60 pair. Of course, you might be able to find some takeoffs for cheaper, maybe even free.
Just FYI, I considered doing this on my 2010. Only problem was my fronts are only 20" in length, so I would've had to buy four 2012 brake lines. Even used ones would've cost the same as Crown's, which is what I went with. The new longer fronts are approximately 27" in length which is plenty long for a 3-4" lift.
