Default Longer shocks

I have 1" Teraflex spacers up front and seem to experience some metal slapping sounds while driving slow over small bumps at low speeds. I have read in other threads that this could be the shocks topping out do to the added spacer. Is it ok to get longer shocks (ones that are for a 2" lift) and use them or will this not work.

With a 1" lift, I doubt it is the shocks bottoming out, especially if your not disconnected.

I would check all the hardware.
