He said he won't be doing much offroading. So he will may not need drive shafts. Maybe he wants the old school lifted look. I don't blame him, I'm on my 4th jeep and not a big fan of LCG look. I see guys w/ 4-5 lift on 35s and 37 and think they look great...

Thanks for all the replies. I have read 4" on a 2dr you need to replace the driveshaft but I have a 4dr and don't plan on any off roading. This will be my daily driver and I need to to last. Basically I just love the 4" 4dr look on 35's. I could maybe settle for 3" but I doubt less then that. Any one have the Rock Krawler 3.5" lift? I would say my budget is about $800 on a setup. I haven't read anything but praises on OME shocks so I know I want those but still not sure on a spring 3-4".

 

I have a 2 DR with a 4" Super Ride by Superlift. I love this kit. I don't do much offloading either and it is a daily driver. The lift cost me about $650. Superlift is located in Louisiana. You may want to check them out.

 

First off welcome to the forum. Lots of great people and info here. I've learned a lot in the few months I've been around. I just ordered a rock krawler 3.5 with shocks and bump stop from bryan at 4wd was around 2 grand. There are still things I need. Look in the FAQ section it helped me understand what I could afford.

 

Our 3.5" kit might be a good fit for you. It includes our new N2.0 shocks, springs for 3.5" lift in the front and 3" in the rear, front and rear trackbar brackets, swaybar links, and front lower arms w/ OEM style rubber bushings to give some positive caster without the use of cambolts. This will keep your handling from being "flighty". The springs and shocks were designed and tested for a great ride.

Are you going to install yourself?

 

I doubt I'll do the install myself I just don't have the time with work and living in an apartment since I have moved from Tennessee to Michigan and don't know much of anyone up here to give me a hand. I did my own coilover swap shocks/struts on my mustang, and a few other suspension setups so I'm sure I could get through it but just don't have the time or resources right now would rather pay someone.

 

X3 on this one. I'm a broken record as I chime in on many lift questions with this one. It is on my DD and I love the heck out of it. Would make the same choice 1000X again.

 

Just kinda wondering if your budget has install money factored in or not cause that will be a couple hundred more.
