Default looking to get a set of KMD Rockstars for my 2012 JKU - Need help

Hello Forum,

Been all over the forum and google getting opinions on what setup to go with so I figured I'd ask for some personal help from the experts.

I have a black 2012 JKU and am looking to get the biggest and widest setup for tires and wheels without having to use a lift kit. Specifically looking to get the KMD Rockstars in 20" and Nitto Trail or Terra Grapplers.

I know most people frown on 20", but i really love the look. I also live in Downtown Chicago so no rocks or mud to play in :(

What's the widest and tallest tire I can go with without having issues with rubbing and all that jazz? Looking for exact spec so I can place my order.

I was thinking:

20" on 33" grapplers

If anyone has pics of a similar setup or have any experinces with this setup.... please share

I think a lot of Jeepers, myself included, don't really care much for the KMD Rockstar "rims". May be hard to acquire the information you are seeking.

But I can say that the Nitto Terra xxxx tires are excellent and I would highly recommend them on which ever wheel you choose.

To each his own. Welcome to the site.

Small wheels, small wieners. Dont listen to these mouth breathers. Go big or go home! Rock those rockstars with pride!

I have 20" by 8.5 wheels with 33" toyo tires. This set up will put your tires out about an inch and a half of a stock fender. If you try really hard you can get the back tire to rub. The 33" nittos look badass too, go for it. Make sure you post pics in the 20" wheel club to start a fresh round of flameage

I can definitely recommend the trail grapplers. They are awesome tires on and off road. As for width I personally wouldn't go over a 12.50 unless it was a 37" or bigger.

I have been running 20's for awhile started with 35's then 37's and to be honest and truthful I would never run 33's on 20's , at least do 35's

37/13.50/20

35/12.50/20
