Default Looking for ideas to fix fairlead problem

Just got a new synthetic winch, installed winch but were bolts are to install fairlead, they will hit winch if I line up, I can move fairlead over but then steel on one side is exposed, what could I do to fix this, looking for a creative fix, added a pic of my style bumper

I can't, winch is right up against bumper, cannot put bolts through if lined up right, need to move fairlead over which exposes one side

You mean there is absolutely zero space? What about some liquid nails?

Right, winch is touching where bolt would go through. What is a liquid nail?

We had that issue and installed two carriage bolts to hold the fairlead on. We have a Rugged Ridge XHD bumper and a Smittybilt XRC 8 comp winch. Not sure if this will work for you but it's worth a shot!
