Anyone use and like the 3.5 rough country lift. I also heard it gives you about 4 inches in total

This is the answer. If I could do it all again I would do a tf performance leveling kit with acos on top.

If you want to save drive shafts then stay at 2.5" or so. Clayton makes a nice lift though.

Most folks that don't like Rough Country have never run it, or had a bad experience with them in the TJ days. I ran a 2.5 coil/shock lift for 2 year and had no issues with it. I love my TF Long Arm, but I paid a lot for it. For a good entry level coil/spring lift, RC is a good option. Unless you are looking to spend a lot of dough, I would stick to 2.5" lifts.

You might look at the Rancho 4" Sport Lift if your rig is gonna be a DD with only occasional wheeling duty. Your use sounds a lot like mine and I love mine. It can be installed yourself if you are so inclined. Mine didn't need an alignment after installation either.

It costs between $1000 & $1150, but has a $500 rebate right now sow net cost will be $500-$650.

Some will tell you that you have to replace your drive shaft with a 4" lift. I've been running mine for 7 months and one 10k miles, including wheeling and I don't have any signs of drive shaft failure. I'm not saying it can't or won't happen, just saying I haven't had any problems yet. I'll cross that bridge when/if I get ther.

Feel welcome to PM me if you want more details. Good luck in your choice.

I have the RC 2.5 coil and shock lift and I'm looking to swap it out with a TeraFlex lift as soon as possible. RC has great customer service, when my original coils started to sag they sent out 4 brand new coils. However I've been running this lift for about a year and a half or so and the ride quality has gotten progressively worse over time.

I've also trimmed my flares and I still rub at full flex but it isn't bad at all. I'd recommend staying at the 2.5" height, no drive shaft trouble, and a lower center of gravity is nice to have.
