Default Looking for a specific bolt. Where to find?

Hi everyone,

I got a new lower intermediate shaft and I see it doesn't come with any hardware. I am looking for the bolt that holds the shaft to the steering wheel side. Any ideas where I can find a bolt that works? required strength, pitch, size etc... ?? I cannot re use the old bolt.

Thanks

I don't know what size you need, but Boltdepot.com would have it. I have bought from them and gotten quick service. Good luck!

Call whoever made the shaft or where you got it from and ask them if they have any bolts or what size it needs, if they can't mail you one or you need it now go to your local Fastenal, if you have one. They will more than likely be able to help you out.

Well its a OEM part from the Dealer so I can't imagine them being the friendliest to ask. Worth a short I suppose. I can't really order it online as I don't have any idea what I would be looking for besides a "bolt". The current one is still holding my shaft on there so I would have to take it apart in there parking lot to bring in the old bolt.

I've had good luck finding different size bolts and hardness at Ace hardware if you have one, seriously they have a lot of bolts.

I called my local Fastenal on a Saturday AM and got no answer, message etc. They had a chance but Ace came through.
