why is it not functional , it holds the tire in case you get a flat if you are talking about being able to put it back on by yourself then most of the tire carriers out there you can't put a 37 on it by yourself

And I will take clearance over functional because you should never be wheeling alone ( so you will always have someone else there to help ) and it only takes to guys to put it back up

But man that's a old picture , something new

Reason I say it's not functional:

1. No way you're putting a tire on it by yourself
2. You now have No rear view.
3. Have you smashed your head into it while accessing the back yet?
4. If you need clearance like that you shouldn't have a bumper!
5. Do you always take trips with passengers? An on road flat would be a real pain.

I still think it looks great but is functionally terrible.

Hah, so 1 and 5 are the same, oops!

Jaker T5

Your Jeep is almost identical to mine. It looks badass no doubt and the look of the tire carrier is "different" which is why I'm wanting one. The only problem is the amount. I have to believe there is a cheaper version or model out there that located the spare in that location. Any ideas?

This exact rear bumper is the one I will be getting to go with their front bumper. I agree that it's pricey but if its built as good as their front bumpers are I am ok with it. I love how it swings away to get into the back.

there is no cheap bumper like this unless you build it yourself , I got the bumper for 300 and the cost to weld it up was 200

So the best advice I can give you is I hope you know a welder or you can weld

Paramount restlying doesn't sell anything like that but it's a cheaper one to modify like Jaker's (I think that's the point)

Jaker - Camera is great, I do like the fact you thought about your rear view being completely blocked.

Best thing other than looks is the fact that in a sea of wranglers yours stands out.

Still want to see a shot of it open!
