I just replaced my synthetic rope, but am on the hunt for a rock guard to protect the rope against rock abraisons. The type I'm looking for is one that has a velcro closure running the entire length so it can be easily removed and replaced as needed. The challenge is finding one longer than three feet. If any fellow jeepers know who carries such a thing, please let me know.
Oh, I also recall seeing on the internet an offroad store in Tucson AZ that carried a cordura winch line spool cover with a velcro closure that covered the spool for the ultimate in UV protection for the synthetic line. I know I can cover my entire Warn winch, but would prefer not to do that.

Master Pull is the only one I know of that has velcro but only comes 3' long. You might try contacting them to see if they could custom make you something longer?
