Hmmmm im gonna take a shot in the dark and say that i dont think it should look like that. Now whether that would cause a wobble is a different story? but i would say it possibly could

Guess I should have given a little more information. I recently had new ball joints and front lower ctl arm bushing installed. The ctl arms are skyjacker. And I was wondering mostly about the washer on these because it doesn't even go under the entire nut. I don't have time to take them off today but figured I would get other opinion on what they thought. As for the boot on the c at the ball joint I compared it to the bottom one and it was not nearly as pinched nor was it popped out like that. And I compared it to the other side and both the top and bottom weren't popped out either. I was wondering what the boot was for (i was thinking to keep grease in and dirt out) and if it was okay to be the way it is.

Those are not washers they are cam bolts and that's what they look like. Cam bolt are bad they are used to adjust ur castor. One of them prob backed off some and messed ur alignment up happens all the time with cam bolts

Those washers are supposed to be offset like that, it allows adjustment of the lower control arms for alignment. As far as the ball joint boots, NO, that is incorrect and needs to fixed ASAP. The ball joints may not have been installed correctly causing the boot to squeeze out. That will allow dirt/water in and destroy the joints quickly. If the joint isn't installed correctly and has a slight bit of sloppiness in it, that will definitely cause death wobble. I would take it back to the shop that did the work.

Thanks for the explanation! Obviously, I had no idea what they were. I'll add that to my list of things I now know about my jeep. It keeps getting longer every day So how easy is it to check the alignment (besides the driving it and seeing if it drifts/pulls to one side)? Or should I just take it back to the shop (4 wheel parts) where I had the alignment done and the bushings installed and let them correct it?

I see in your profile you have a 4" lift. You NEED adj. control arms. When you lift a jeep, the caster gets changed. You correct the caster either by adj. control arms or cam bolts. If you can, at a minimum, I'd invest is some adj. front lower control arms and get rid of the cam bolts.

Yeah that is something I have been planning to address. Oddly, or maybe not, it came with adjustable rear uppers. Don't know how typical that is, but I had no choice in the matter since I bought the jeep used. My list keeps getting bigger and wallet keeps getting smaller.

I have a 4.5" Trailmaster lift on my '09 JKU Rubicon....This lift to be exact...

I don't have cam bolts or adjustable control arms. This lift retains all of the stock control arms and my Jeep drives great, no wobble or anything. So are they really necessary?
