Default loose rear end

now that my buddy has pointed out to me, I notice it more. He says the rear end felt loose, like something wrong with sway bar. 4.5" RE long arm, JKS adj track bar front and rear. Sway bars are stock except for RE rear links and JKS adj. front discos. When i get on or let off the gas, I have a slight pull on the front end and the rear end wobbles for a second. It's not enough to throw me all over the road but it is noticeable.

I have not seen anything loose on the bars themselves. What else should I be looking for??

I have hit the trails hard and a lot. When the Jeep wobbles on the rear end, it feels to me more like body roll side to side. Could my springs and shocks be wearing out?

Check the bushings on the control arms. They bay be cracked, broken, or missing.

thanks, I really did not want to hear that answer. It's the Rubicon Express 4.5" long arm. I may have to fight them AGAIN if it is. will check it out in the morning.

Look at the track bar mount in the rear they have been known to break off from the axle side. Also check the front as the can break/crack as well. Look at the mount and have someone push the Jeep hard from the side, rocking the vehicle while watching for movement.

You may need to adjust\align your rear arms and replace bushings

I had a RE 4.5" long arm with KM2 35's.
However, due to bushing wear issues (less than 11k miles, they're back ordered plus RE is reorganizing), I am replacing my entire suspension with another manufacturer equivalent long arm kit (plus new balljoints, F\R trackbars, Fox 2.5 shocks and bump stops), I am only keeping the 4.5" RE coils, extended brake lines and sway bar links.

as mentioned, i would start with what you know could be the problem (i.e. check the control arm bushings) and then go from there.

You typically can't SEE something that's loose, use a torque wrench to make sure.
