Question Lost height due to new bumpers

I was looking to run a Teraflex 2.5" coil suspenion lift (with shock adaptors - given that I have a brand new Rubi) so I can run 35s. After doing some reading, I guess I'm an idiot, but I didn't consider any height I might lose when I add a new front bumper/winch and a new rear bumper w/ tire carrier. I am thining something equivalent to ARB, front and back. So...

How much height will I lose from new front and rear? Also, what is the total weight I will add? I know it will depend on what exactly I get, but assume it is nothing "crazy." Thanks!

I have the same lift but with Bilstien 5100 shocks and I was surprised when I did not lose any height when I installed my LOD front bumper. I haven't measured since I put on the Skid Row engine skid this weekend and am curious if it impacted the lift as well.

I hope to have the LoD Rear bumper and tire carrier on this month or next so I can't speak for the rear yet

The TF kits take account for all that aftermarket stuff. The 2.5" is the minimum lift gained. I've got all kinda stuff on mine, There isn't a noticeable if any drop.

A couple thoughts that might help (or might not) ...

1. I believe that the TF 2.5" coil lift for the four doors had a change in springs when folks were getting a lot more height than anticipated. So, folks with the earlier set-up will have different experiences than folks with the later set-ups and their comments here will reflect that.

2. While I don't know what adding my aftermarket gear (see signature) would have done to the 2.5" TF coil lift because that gear was already installed when I did the lift, I do know how much more I gained over a 2.5" budget boost and stock springs (bear in mind this is a four door, and one of the later TF lifts): 3/4" in the front and 3/8" in the rear. So, I can assure you that there is some compensation going on for the additional weight (which was why I added the lift in the first place).

I would install your lift and bumpers and see if you are happy with height/rake. You really do not know till your done. Then add spacers where needed/wanted.

After installing my lift, bumpers, winch, etc. I wanted more rake so I added 3/4" spacer in the rear. Installed them 2 days after I ordered them.

Spacers are usually kept in stock and are fast to install. It's not like you'll be waiting weeks if your are unhappy.
