I am looking at doing mine in the morning? Did you take the hinges off the door or just a lot of taping and covering the door?

Yeah i took them off however after doing it i would have just taped it off the paint cracks when you pull it off the paint on the jeep was single coat not individually painted hard to explain. And when bolting back on if you dont perfectly get the bolts square putting the door back on will be a pain in the ass.

Thanks. Mine are drying as we speak.

I don't think I've seen this in this thread. If so I apologize.

I saw these for sale somewhere and they wanted like 12-15 dollars. I have buckets of brass that I reload so this was a quick 5 minutes of work. And cost me nothing. Just five 40 caliber rounds and some super glue and the black valve caps and presto:

I had a few extra hours this week and want to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread. Many great ideas, here's some results. I did the mag lite, removed my stickers, painted the chrome door hinge covers black, iPod mount, and side mirrors. Thanks again

Have use the little mirrors? How good do they work I have the mirror relocation brackets and we all know the passages side is pretty much useless are they any better that those? If so I might do this.

I can see slot better than I could without any mirrors and for $2 a piece. I'd say try it I like mine and won't buy anything else
