I put the mount it came with on a 2x4 and used hose clamps to secure that to the rear legs of the driver seat.

Quick question guys, I noticed two cut out holes on each side of the light on the sound bar. What are those for? I'm thinking hardtops may need those for bolts?

Yeah that was one of my concerns but once i got it in its far enough in that its out of the way for getting in and out. The only problem is its tempting to rest your foot on.

Painted to match now and used three big zip ties to secure it. Took one of the cinch straps to go around the extinguisher just so it doesn't become a missile in an accident and can still get it off in seconds if need be.

Default Bed LIne Door Hinges

About to bed line my door hinges and want to know the importance on to sand them before spraying or not to sand them. i have read that both methods have been used. Im curious how they looked a few months or years after they process was finished.

Plasti dip them first before you bedline them to make sure it's what you want. I would always prep a surface before you paint.

I used the spray plastidip on my hinges about 5-6 months ago and its still holding up perfect. I did not sand them just in case i didnt like the plastidip and then i would be stuck with messed up hinges.

I just plastidip'd all my door handles and hood latches. Everything looks brand new. Super durable too, I have had it on my f150 rocker panels for over two years. I only need the occasional touch up.

Honestly, I don't have the balls to paint things permanently lol. I get awesome results and leave of mind with plasti dip.

I did remove my Sahara step bars and repainted those. Everything else stays on the jeep while I plasti it.
