Low profile "stubby" automatic shifter modification?

Low profile "stubby" automatic shifter modification?
I was wondering if anyone had modified their automatic shift level to be shorter? I have a computer mounted in my Jeep and it sits in front of the center stack. I'd like to make it as low as possible but the shifter gets in the way.
