Default Low snorkel to keep folding windshld??

I'm guessing I'll be fabbing this myself, a snorkel that sits above the hood or fender but still allows the folding windshield to,,,,,, fold.

Anyone seen or built one? I'm not planning to ford the Hudson River but hit some deep standing water, still want the windshield down though. Thanks.

Not sure how much you would gain by that - the stock airbox is just under the hood. So at most you would only gain a few inches.

I thought it pulled air from underneath,,,I had read about holes in the bottom of the box that get siliconed closed in a snorkel install. I guess just sealing them up might be enuf or are they there to drain any water that might get in? I see three spots in the base that could be drains or mounting points for the box?

Anyone getting water in the airbox?
