Lower 40 Tailgate Idea???????

Lower 40 Tailgate Idea???????
Just wondering if anyone has taken an old CJ tailgate and fabbed it to a JK? My tailgate got severely damaged awhile ago and was thinking about replacing it, but I like the really like the look of the older CJ tailgates with the "jeep" emblem. I then saw the "lower 40" jeep and noticed he pretty much had the look I was going for. I know about swag offroad version of the "drop down" tailgate for the JK but I want to go with the CJ tailgate instead. Thanks for any leads or ideas!

I believe the "Lower 40" JK was a Mopar concept so maybe if you ask nicely they will put it into production! haha Seems like a job you need to fab up yourself OR take it to a body shop and let them do it. GL

pretty sure you need a JK tailgate, highly doubt anything will remotely 'fit' without serious modification. That being said, I think to get what you want, you need to graph the 'jeep' from a CJ gate onto a jk gate..
