Default Lower C gussets?

I'm looking at getting some C gussets and I was looking at my jeeps Cs and it definitely looks like the tops could benefit from some reinforcement but the bottoms look very sturdy. Anyone just do the tops? I have the dana44 front, I don't know if the D30s are different.

How much money are you going to save if you only do the tops?

They normally come as a set for like $60. I don't see why you'd pay for both but just do the top.. Just my 2 cents

I got a complete set from off road evolution. They have to be welded on but really nice for cheap money.

For the cost - I just did both. Went with the EVO kit.

Just had my evo c gussets installed this weekend. Pretty stout pieces. I'll post some photos of them later today.

I have to get mine done. Did you have to remove the ball joints?

I welded my EVO gussets on myself and I welded a 1" bead on driver side and had my buddy cool off the ball joints with a wet rag while I welded a 1" bead on the passenger side, then he cooled it down while I went back to driver side. The balljoints haven't leaked or failed yet and its been about 2 months since I installed the gussets

The D44 and D30 front diffs have the same tubes and C's = same weakness.
