Default lower control arm brackets destroyed

So, I've managed to complete destroy my lower control arm brackets on the rear axle.

the brackets are tacoed in, I cant even slide the control arms down and out any more,

the shock mounts are completely twisted, they don't come out very easy either. I'm managed to cut and grind the brackets enough to free things up, but I think its time to fix the brackets.

So should I order Currie brackets? and just cut the old off, and reweld the new?

order EVO rockstars and hope it fixes the problem, Or should I just go local and see if I can have someone fab me something up.

I'm really looking for a solution, that'll give me maxium ground clearance.

We want pics. Let's see the carnage of which you speak. As far as repairs.....If it was "ME" what I would do is simply fab up some copies in 1/4" plate and call it a day.

The same thing happened to mine. Both sides were tacoed in, shock mounts were ground down next to nothing, and the shock bolts were rounded off. I installed the EVO rockstars and it corrected everything. You cut most of the tacoed part out, that's the good thing.

I say get some quotes on local fixes and if they are more than the EVOs....go EVO. I am considering the same fix for my rear mounts. The thing is, a custom shop can't really change the design of the lower control mount more than what the EVO already does, they can just rebuild then beef it up. I'm also thinking some of those Rancho Rock Gear front skids on the front lower control arms since they aren't permanent.

i just looked at mine and they look the same, totally bent over my CA's. I guess we hit the same stuff haha. I have EVO rockstars here that i've had for a while and never installed...now seems as good a time as any though, gonna have to cut everything else off and put those on.

my local guy can make anything. He has alot of metal tools, and is a good fabricator.

I'm going to have him look at it first
