Default Lower control arms?

Hey guys I just had installed Falken Rocky Mountain ATs 285/70/17s and I have the Teraflex 2.5" bb with shocks. I noticed that the steering feels a little loose/flighty. What would be a solution to solve this problem? Lower control arms? The alignment is fine its just the steering wheel feels flighty. Thanks for any replies guys!!!

Check your air pressure first, then your alignment. No one can say if you need LCA's without knowing what is your caster reading.

i would run them about about 30 psi. you ultimately want a flat footprint and a chalk test will help verify this. too much air and your ride will feel flighty. either way, i would start there.

Thanks guys. I didnt have time at lunch to release the tire pressure but I did check all tires and the psi was 43! As soon as I get home Ill take care of that for sure and let you guys know what happens. I cant believe how much pressure they filled the tires with.

You should always recheck the tire pressure after getting new tires. They have to really load them up in order to set the bead. The techs never seems to want to wait while letting the air back out.

Glad you got it driving better. It took me a few weeks to get the right PSI figured out. I ended up running 28psi with 35s. My tires now have 25K on them and are wearing very even...surprisingly
