been working way to much lately, putting in 20 hour days 7 fays a week, its killin me and the jeep project. Well, I got out and did a little work on her tonight, cut off one sides coil cup and the shock tower, removed the stock axle and slid the new axle under for mock up.
Anyone know if they make a polly direct motor mount replacement for these? Its the GM liquid filled mounts they use on the newer rigs (Posted some images of them). I want to go polly bushings on the tcase mount and the rear torque but cant if I keep these rubber liquid filled things having no idea how much they flex. Excuse the filthy shop, I barely have time for work and working on the jeep, no time to clean, lol. |

And it's easy as pie! $125 or so I think well worth it. They also have a genIII ls plug and play harnes that will keep everything working like ac, cruise, tac, abs, fans all the acc. It's around $2500 but no headache and everything works flawlessly. Also the evap system is very easy to get up and running with the harness, only need three sensors, tank pressure, canister vent and canister purge at the intake. The ls engine does not need a return line and the factory jk pump is fine, I upgraded to a built ls2 450hp on the stock pump with no fuel delivery Issues. You could get a stand alone harness and work it yourself but that took me lots of hours after work. If I could go back I would buy the harness. Love the super duty info, that's next for me seeing as tho I only have the 35 in front it's a no brainer. God speed my friend. Let me know if I can help. |
