Default Lucas oil......Do you use?

I seen post on synthetic oil vs. standard oil in a Jeep.
I used Lucas oil in my 01 Impala and in my 92 YJ.
Question is would Lucas oil be to early to use on my 07 JKU with 65000 miles on it? 4qts oil and 1qt Lucas
I use non-synthetic oil now.
I live Ohio so our weather here is a bit on the extreme side, each day is different than the last. Summers are hot and humid and winters are cold with below 0 temps in Jan and Feb.
What are you using?

I use Lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer with every oil change. Been doing it since I bought it with 7k on it. I also use Mobil 1 or amsoil, 5 quarts of synthetic oil and 1 quart of oil stabilizer. I got 90k on it now, no ticks, no burning oil, no leaks. It's worth it in my opinion.

People are going to argue both sides of this topic, but despite the many people who will say do not use it, I have had good luck, and will continue to use it.

I have had good luck with Lucas on my other two vehicles but they had more miles than my Jeep does, I don't see any reason why I should not use. Thanks!

Just keep the oil changed regularly with good quality oil and a filter and you will be fine.

I used Lucas in my big rig(stabilizer), but I've heard of people who put it in smaller engines, mainly motorcycles, have issues with clogged passages.
That said, I believe the OP was meaning the Lucas Oil....
You might try it, it may help with burning, a problem the 3.8 had. I did read an oil review a few years ago, the Lucas Oil didn't test as well as the quality synthetics.

For the most part...all it's gonna do is change the viscosity of your oil. It may help in older, high mileage engines? I doubt it does much more than that. If anything it may reduce the quality of your oil by one quart?

x2

Although I don't know what "bad quality" oil is if you keep it maintained you will have no problems.
