Default Lug nuts on pro comp X alloys

Just ordered some pro comp 17 x 9 7089, Will my stock lug nuts work on these or do I need to order The pro comp ones. Thanks

if you have the acorn wheel lugs then they will work. There will be some washer/spacer thingys on around the wheel studs, make sure you pop those off to get the wheel flat

You have to use the gorilla lugs that 4wd.com sells, they come in a 20 pack.


The stock lugs wont fit the rim correctly, on top of scraping your new rims, you can loose the wheel going down the road..

I have never used anything but oem alloy lugs on aftermarket wheels... never had procomps... what is the difference?

they are smaller hole diameters, the stock lugs wont sit properly. Luckly I felt the tire start to shake and stopped. Soon as i did, the wheel fell off.

Is this only an issue on the Procomps? I was going to use my OEM lugs on my Walker Evans wheels.

I believe so, gorilla makes the lugs specifically for the procomps.

The Lug nuts that came with my 7089's had less bevel and were a little thinner. I havent had any problems with wheels coming off or anything, they do look better than the stock ones though.
