Default Lunch Box Locker

Well the Jeep is getting ready to get geared and locked. I'm going ARB front but a Auto in the rear. Who makes a good auto for these things? I'd like to go with a Detroit but it's not looking good and I'm not able to find one. Open for suggestions.

Get a regular Detroit Locker for the rear. They fit.

Lockright makes one for the front, think for the rear also.

Thanks master jedi. One question Rob not that I doubt you why do they only list them for 95-06 I thought the JK 44's were different then the others out there.

The only difference is supposedly the size of the ring gear bolt holes. The word is they have to be reamed out for the JK bolts to fit. However, there has been more than one person on here install them with no mods at all. Regardless, even if the holes need enlarging, it would be a very easy endeavor.

I recommend spending the extra $300.00 and get another ARB
This way it still drives great on the street without the stress on your axles with better off road capabilities also tighter turning radius just by flipping a switch.

Maybe you may have to eat out of your lunch box for a few weeks to save the lunch money but it is worth it.

Thanks man. I might end up doing that. I've spent more time researching things on this Jeep then I did when I bought my house.

I'm going to vote with that too. A auto locker is not fun to have for street driving. I've had one and they suck when it rains.

Everybody's a comedian. That is a good idea, though.

I've got to go with the ARB in the rear too. You're already 3/4 of the way there with gearing and looking at a Detroit (or something similar). Might as well go with the ARB.
