M.O.R.E. front stubby-installed with pics
Ran out of daylight over here, so all the pics I take have the glare. So tomorrow I will take some better pics and post to help out. I really am happy with it....now I've got to justify spending a crapload on the rear bumper/ tire carrier.
Oh yeah, total cost ($835 shipped plus $125 to powder coat it) was almost a grand, but I justified it by not having to buy another set of fog lights
(happy with the factory fogs too). It also wont work with the powerplant, but that was low on my decision list.
Bofer, I ordered from David at Northride, he just doesn't have it on his website yet.

[QUOTE=gt3073b;111852]That is a great looking bumper!
Its hard to tell from your photo, but is the disco guard reinforced somehow or is it just an unsupported flat plate? From the photo it looks like it is totally flat and only attached at the front.
The pics on the Shrockworks site show that their guard has a welded lip on the ends of the plate that would stiffen it quite a bit.

The swaybar skid on the M.O.R.E. is continuous with the bumper itself and not removable like the Schrockworks. I would say that it would take more (no pun intended) to make the MORE give than the schrockworks. It you look to the right of my pic you will see the crossmember that I have mentioned a few times. The bottom of the bumper attaches there (tight fit). If you took a hit there or the skid itself, the force would be supported by the frame itself. The MORE is made of 7 gauge steel, and I am not sure of the difference between that and 3/16 steel plate.

is that a challenege??? my shrock is reinforced in 4 places, just because the skidplate on the shrock is bolt on, doesnt make it weaker...it is good to see MORE having protection for the sway bar motor as well

No, its not a challenge, and I am not trying to start a whose bumper is stronger issue. I think both are nice bumpers, and has its own advantages/disadvantages for my situation. The main advantage for the schrockwork for me is that you can use the powerplant vs. not with the MORE. As for the main advantage with the MORE is that I got to keep my factory fogs.
I was just addressing a comment that might create doubt for someone considering a MORE stubby.

i know im just bitter
cuz i think the MORE bumper is an excellent product...and i love the fog light option, but i had to give it up in order to use the powerplant :(

No pissing contest here(although speaking of pissing contests---I know a guy named pee-head that can stand in front of a stop sign and pee over it). Both bumpers are well designed and will make you a proud parent.
Where do you order them from...i tried to find one from our boys at Northridge, but they dont carry them i guess
David

...hmmm was pushing towards the shrock stubby but now....got me thinking
