Default Made some new front and rear bumbers

Here is some pics of my front and rear bumber plus some others. Let me know what you think.

I welded the front and rear out of 3/16 hot rolled steel

Yeah it took some time. Started with it in carboard to make sure it looked right. But the welding and cutting took about two days

with someone having basic welding skills/ tools (me), would you do it again or recommend buying bumpers

That was my third time ever welding. I Had to reweld the rear bumber three times becuase I was still learning. And I plan on adding a rear tire carrier and a front push gard. With all that I have done so far incuding the paint I have about 500 bucks into. Which is almost as much as the front. So yeah Its great to learn and I would do it again.

that rear bumper really kicks ass!!! (assuming it is as solid as it is good looking!)

no I used durback its works really good. But there light gray was more like white so my third coat i mixed it with some black to make a darker gray
