Default Magnaflow Cat Backs

Whats the difference in a Magnaflow Competition series cat back and a Performance series cat back beside almost double the price for a performance? Been looking at exhaust lately and got it narrowed down to Magnaflow or MBRP. Borla's are just too expensive.

Not to hijack the thread, but have you looked into Dynomax? Very happy with my Ultra Flow Welded and the price was on point (got it for $192 shipped). The Magnaflow Competition is about double the price. Video is after about a month on the Jeep and the tone should lower a bit more after another month or so. Good luck!

If you can get me the part numbers you are looking at then I can get you the answer. Without knowing that, I'm guessing what you are looking at is one is the offroad series that dumps under the Jeep and the other is the comp series that exits out the back of the Jeep.

No I haven't, I'll look into it. Thanks. Simply put, I'm looking for a lowest deepest growl out there.

What you are looking at in the first system is a Quadratec exhaust system that is built by magnaflow. So this system is going to be built to Quadratec's specs and could carry a different warranty. The second system is a Magnaflow exhaust system built to they're specs and warrantied by them. Let me talk to some people tomorrow and see if I can nail down some more specifics for you.
