Thumbs up Many mods advice

Hello everyone, this is my first thread so be brutal!

ive had my JK for about 4 months now and wheeled it extremaly hard (broken and replaced many parts) to see what upgrades im interested in. i will do any hill/hole i see. Also not afraid to take it swimming in the rocky rivers. i cant go anywhere without getting compliments on it or turning every head
i have read many threads before creating mine. so im strictly looking for your opinions and advice based on personal experience. Please dont waste your time by telling me to look in another thread. That being said lemme begin.

Okay, so ive just purchased the teraflex 4 inch lift with shocks and all 8 flex arms. the only thing i see that wasnt in this kit that was in other brands was a drop pitman arm. how nescasary is it to have? also axle straps? i chose teraflex because of many post from others on this foroum so thanks!

As of now my shaft interest is in Tom Woods not so thrilled about the price as i am with the quality and popularity. Anybody have any experience with these or another name brand woulld be taken into great consideration before i drop the $$$

Next i have 35's with a 6 speed (which 6th is unuseable..). i still have a stock gear ratio and am highly considering a re-gear after winter. being this is a DD as much as a toy im stuck between 4.10 and 4.56. Transfer case is also stock, this note im completly clueless.. should i just leave it alone? or maybe theres a cost effecient upgrade? idk you tell me!

i have after market bumpers and theres still to much plastic in the fenders and stock runners. looking for maybe flat Bushwackers? but i havent seen any in person so not sure which fenders look good outside a photo.. I think i have my mind set on a pair of smitty built Rock sliders but hey im open to any name brand to save some cash.

Is there any one Chip superior to another? i have a K&N cold air intake and wouldnt mind just a little bit more power when i get off-road.

And like i said im still a newbie, so any other advice for things needed for offroad or performance, or just overall flash is greatly appriciated! Unfortuanatly in my area of smalltown ohio im the only Jeeper around.. Thanks for Reading will post profile pic shortly!

Personally, I hate the look of bushwacker flares and wouldn't spend the money on them when cutting your stock bulky plastic flares is so easy. If you want to save cash, spend less than $30 and cut your flares. Write up: Project-JK.com - Jeep JK Wrangler Resource » Jeep JK Wrangler Factory Fender Chop

You can also cut your bumpers. There are end caps you can purchase, but for the short term I didn't see a need.

I think you'll find a re-gear is the only true way to gain back lost power. As far as bang for your buck goes, nothing beats a re-gear.

As far as which gears you'd need, consult the chart and make the decision for yourself:

You're about 2 hours from Southington Offroad park, if you ever want to make a trip up there, let me know with a PM and I'll gladly join you. (That picture is at Southington)

do a drag link flip instead of the drop pitman arm. offroad evolution makes a nice setup, as does synergy. i would prefer evo however.
won't need limiting straps unless u went with shock lengths longer than the ones included in the teraflex kit.
JE Reel for the drive shafts. 1310 is ok for 35's, but i would do 1350's in case u decide to go 37's later, which u will.
4.56 is gonna be minimum. i would go at least 4.88 so u will be ok once u get your 37's. if u are gonna gear it, consider lockers at the same time.
bushwackers are ok, poison spyder crusher flares are the nicest imo. i would cut the stock flares first. i mean they will get pulled off when you change em anyways.
Ace sliders are nice, but the best are the weld on Evo sliders.
no opinion on chips.
imo the 4" teraflex is gonna look silly with 35's. u need 37's with that kit.

hope this helps u out. good luck!

Its like you could read my mind on the 37's i will be upgrading to them once these 35s wear out they were new when i bought the jeep. Wow really diggin the PSC flares and sliders both, havent even come across this brand before.. 4.88 just seemed kinda high ecspecially for highway use.

Thanks for the input!

My Uncle and I are headed up there next Saturday (Dec 8th.) It's their last open weekend until spring, so if you want to go this year now is your last chance!
