Default massive flex and sideways stability

hey everybody, here's another noob question...

after reading on the forum, especially these threads:

I can't help but wonder, how does the massive flex affect you're COG and sideways stability? i understand when front left and rear right wheel is up, the jeep stays flat and balanced. But when both left wheels are up, will it lean over? Or will you have the same sideways stability as another lift with the same height but less flex?

Does anyone out there have experience on this?

Default no one??

does anyone have experiences on this??

The reason i'm asking is because i would like to make more of an overlander. I'm gonna drive this jeep in Romania, where you are allowed to drive wherever you want. Most of the terrain there is gravel, sand and mud, and because of this i would like to put some 37s, simply because they float better. Also it's nice to be able to go over the obstacles when you meet them, instead of going around. I'm also interrested in a comfy ride on and off road, and i understand the coilovers are amazing here? My thoughts of concern is, when driving where no one has been before, you might have to go sideways on the hills now and then. Will the maximum angle of sideways stability be affected with a high flex system, compared to a stiffer lift with the same height?

In other words, would an RE-lift be better at sideways stability??

A lift will affect center of gravity. Rubicon express went out of buisness.

RE is not out of business they opened again. Sideways stability and flex. The higher you are the less stability you have if you keep the same wheelbase. So if you keep the same wheelbase and your options are alot of flex or little flex and your looking for stability I would recommend alot of flex. Imagine if your flex is limited to 6 inches of uptravel compared to 12 inches when you come up to an obstacle the flex will keep the jeep from liening(spelling) to far to the side. But on an offcamber obstacle (where one side is higher then the other) a lower center of gravity would be better then a higher lift which centers your weight higher up making the jeep more top heavy in turn making off camber a little more challenging. Sorry if this confused you.

massive flex WILL NOT effect your COG - being too tall will. your "sideways stability" will not change just because you have more flex.
