Default Mastercraft Courser MXT ???

I'm fixing to get some 37x12.50r17 tires next week and I have tried researching the Mastercraft Courser but really can't find any info. I like the weight and the price but really would like to hear from somebody that has them.

If you look at the specs the reduced weight can be attributed to the smaller diameter. I believe they list them at 36.3" so they will be under 36" on a 9" wheel under the jeep.

I agree 37's should be 37 but I'm mostly worried about ride, durability, wear, balancing, traction and that kind of info. Thanks for the reply

Thanks for the link. It was helpful. I think I'm going to give them a try. Would love to go with toyo or nitto but they are extremely heavy and I think they charge by the pound. For the price I think it's worth taking a chance but if anybody has more info or pic's on these, please share.

I tried these in 37s on some ATX Slabs. I could not get them to balance. Some took as much as 20 ounces of weight. Tried 3 time to balance and still had speed related vibration. Swapped them out for some 37" Toyos, which balanced perfectly. 2 didn't require any weight at all and the other 2 took less than 4 ounces to balance. Maybe I just got a bad set...

Any update? Just bought a 2015 Tank Rubicon and will be adding a 2.5 Rock Krawler lift. Already have ten factory shafts front and rear, synergy ball joints, evo sleeves, artec truss, g2 gussets and lca skids. Looks like a viable option for 37s if they have been good.

I ended up going with the Cooper STT. Might try the mastercraft next time if I can find some better reviews.

Default Love them...

We put the Mastercraft Courser MXT 315/70R17's on our 2014 Rubicon last spring when we bought it. has about 12,000 miles now, we've rotated twice and these are incredible tires as far as I'm concerned. Stock Rubicon with no lift, 17" Black Mountain wheels, zero problem with balancing and wear is pretty good so far. I highly recommend these and we are getting ready to put the same set up on my sons 2011 Sport. I tried some other off brand MT tires on my 2014 Ram 2500 and that is what really made me appreciate how good the Mastercraft is. Great tire and whats best is its so inexpensive.
