Max energy vs flashpaq tuner.
What's the difference in these aren't they both tuning? I see some have both?
I need something for upper end power my jeep drops down in speed all the time and I have to down shift to get it back to speed?

My experience was not what others are experiencing. I had the pinging issue with my 2010. Superchips did attempt to rectify it for about 6 months. The last tune I got from them was better but still it pinged, and to be honest, the performance was certainly less than the original tunes. My gas mileage actually went down instead of up, and the hesitation when getting on the gas around 2000rpm inherent in all JK's got worse. Superchips feel they have addressed the issue for those of us in the states with more oxygenated fuels but the fact is I disagree.
Could I keep pushing the issue with them? Sure I suppose so, but I don't have the time to go back and forth for another 6 months etc. trying to get it fixed. Scott the forum rep is very helpful, but the guys doing the tuning work are less so, and almost cop a bit of attitude at times, like I am doing something to cause the pinging.
For several months now I have been driving with the stock tune and I am just using the Flashpaq for tire size adjustment. Not wanting to have a $375 tire adjuster, I purchased a Hypertech Energy Max recently to see if it would work better. Low and behold, no pinging. Slightly less seat of the pants feel compared to the Flashpaq but smooth as can be.
Also, the latest iteration of the Superchips software for updating is an abomination, and their DAQ software doesn't work either.
Again, this is just one man's opinion, there are many many members on this forum that will swear it's awesome, amazing, etc. and for them maybe that's the case.
For me, I will be sticking with the Hypertech, works great, no concerning of pinging damage to my engine and still works to adjust tire size etc.
Good luck with your choice, there will be a Flashpaq for sale shortly in the marketplace

My hypertech pinged on the regular and 93 tunes. I downloaded the most recent update at the direction of the rep I talked to on the phone and had no change. They told me it couldn't have been the tune and there was something wrong with my JK, with 5k miles on it. Returned to stock and as usual, no pinging. I went to a diablosport predator and have no issues.

What is th SN# on your unit, I would like to dig deeper
Well that's just a whole lot of I don't know what to do?
My jeep just doesn't seem to have power at higher speeds over 50.
As if 55-65 miles an hour is only reachable going down hill. I mean if I take it down to 3rd or 4th it'll get going but I shouldn't have to downshift that much just to get to 60 mph?!!?!
I want to do something that gives it more power to reach 60+, I have no problems with getting going off the line just staying at 50+, in fact my jeep will not stay at that speed without the occasional downshift even on flat land. That's pretty sad.
