Forgive me, but what does this mean? And the TF 2.5" is the lift I was looking at. Do you rub at extremes or is all good?

I do rub in several places, only because of the fact that i ONLY have the stock bump stops in and left out the extentsions.

rub front; sway bar, frame, little bracket that holds fender flair up, fender flair
Rub rear; pinch seams even after hammered over, rock rails

If you just want a DD and want don't want to spend a bunch of $$ on a lift and tires, just put a 1" body lift on it with a set of 3/4" spacers on the front. You can then run 33" tires. If you keep your Jeep for awhile and end up wheeling it more, you can then add a suspension lift and bigger tires.

Don't feel pressured to put bigger tires on just because everyone else is. 35" tires will suck a bunch of the life out of the 3.8L and then you will end up spending money for gears.

Most definately. I'm pretty sure I'll be content with 33's for a while so I'm concentrating on that. I like a 2.5" coil lift will support that, plus give me some good places in the future to move to. I think with a 1" - 1.5" body lift on top of that, 35's won't be an issue if they had any issue with the 2.5" coil lift.

I don't think I'll need to regear with 33's either and I'm pretty sure I'd want to with 35's. Thanks all!

I run a 4" with 35's and the only mods ive done to the driveline is adjust the pinion angle by adding rear upper arms. I drive it daily and have no rubbing and no driveline vibe at all. 11k miles on the lift so far.
