Default Max tires on Dana 44 front and back

Coming from planet TJ, planet JK is new to me so please forgive me for asking an ignorant question...

In your opinion, what is the maximum tire size I should put on a Rubi 4dr with Dana 44 axles from a strength point of view? I realise that I am going to have to lift her and change the axle gear ratios.

At what gear ratio would one have to change the electric Rubi locker if at all?

Thanks

For HARD use and stock axles shafts I would stay with 35's
For HARD use and upgraded shafts I would have no issue with 37's
For daily driver duties and mild use 37's should not be an issue.

My JK is my offroad toy and I intend to have LOTS of fun with it. I'm running 37's and will be changing to alloy shafts and upgraded u-joints as quickly as possible.

Exactly what he said. With a set of chromoly shafts, 37's no problem. But, with the bigger spline rear, I'd almost think it could do 37's stock

Where can I get alloy shafts for a D30 front and D44 rear? I looked a few weeks ago, and couldn't find anyone selling them. Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Give David at Northridge4x4 a call. I just spoke to him and I'm pretty sure he said that he has some Superior Dana 44. As far as fronts go, nobody has them out yet for a Dana 30 or 44. Superior should have them out by next month.
