There are more than a half dozen manufacturer sponsored dynos out there and none of them have consistent numbers for stock. Hood up, hood down, different ambient conditions, different vehicle temperatures, all kinds of ways to cook a dyno. 2.5" pipe and straight through mufflers aren't going to make a difference from one to another no matter what kind of secret sauce they want to pour on them.

I have the Magnaflow SS catback and don't really like it. The sound is "breathy". I don't know really how to describe it, it is deeper but it doesn't sound strong. Just my personal opinion, I'm going to upgrade, probably to MBRP when they come out with their relocation kit. Also, I had to cut my stock bumper to get the huge exhaust tip to fit, it was melting the plastic.

I like the looks of the MBRP better myself. When it's time for a new exhaust it's the one that I'll be going with.

Mbrp hands down. Have it in mine about 2 weeks now and just this past weekend went 200 miles straight. No dull drone sound any speed. All highway miles

Well you got lucky, mine drones just like a flowmaster does.My friend has a flowmaster 40 on his 2006 toyota tacoma...single in/dual out.His flowmaster and my MBRP exhaust sounds almost exactly the same when rev'ed up and actually mine drones more than his.

I would pick the MBRP over the magnaflow anyday.I think the magnaflow sounds too ricey but if I had to do it over I would just get a flowmaster delta 40 and switch it with my stock muffler and be done with it.

I'd love to see it, but it might not be until the next Socal run in the Fall. I'm finishing up with finals at LMU pretty soon then heading back up to Norcal. Thanks for the offer though...

It sounds like something might be going on with your system. We have not experienced any drone at all with any of our JK systems. They can be heard when accelerating, but not what we would call loud...At highway speeds can you hear the exhaust over the wind noise and/or tires?

Do you have the relocation system or the standard rear muffler?
